In His Sublime Name

The Iranian Association for Ethics in Science and Technology (IAEST) will hold the 1st International Congress on Ethics in Science and Technology with the slogan of "Ethics for All, Science for Development" at the International Convention Center of the National Library of Iran, Tehran from 4th-8th December, 2017.

Relevant themes cover all the realms of ethics in science and technology in the following tracks:
- Fundamentals of Ethics in Science and Technology
- Professional Ethics in Science and Technology
- Ethics in Management of Science and Technology
- Ethics in Science and Technology and Public Policy
- Ethics in New Sciences and Technologies

The strong tendency for the ethical promotion of life and its peculiar aspects alongside the concentration upon all dimensions of moral life in scientific and professional ambience has been observed as the most serious need for the so-called sustainable development. Also, it is an irrefutable fact that a country, which claims to be bound to following a prophet whose main objective of prophethood is to make moral promotion, should lay stress more on the underlying ground for moral promotion. We all have a duty in order to partake more and more in bringing progress to this objective, and to provide groundwork for the constant presence of morality in miscellaneous aspects of science and technology.

In the hope of having a noteworthy congress, it is necessary to have more valuable presentations and active participations. Your support will increase the organizers' motivation for the promotion of moral situation in society toward which the association gives the highest significance. In this congress, in addition of presenting the accepted abstracts, some internationally renowned speakers will share their own salutary experiences with participants. Among the important parts of the congress there will be heated debates, educational seminars, case studies, and workshops concerning ethical subject-matters of ethics in science and technology.
